This will be the first time that Breton skipper, Roland Jourdain has raced on board a multihull in the Fastnet Race and it will also be the first race for the team on Veolia Environnement. While Jourdain is aware that the Rolex Fastnet Race will be a trial run for the new boat, he also knows he needs to pull out all the stops: "Once the start gun has been fired, we'll be going as fast as we can and we'll also be out to get across the line ahead of Race for Water and they will be doing likewise. In a way, we'll be having our own little race in a race because, out on the course Race for Water will obviously be our direct rival. Watch out for some action-packed moments at sea," says Jourdain.
