Heading to the start on a slightly overcast sunday morning, the crew of the Pinta-M are looking forward to what appears to be a relatively quiet race. 7 of the crew have taken part in the Rolex Sydney Hobart with the boat, in 2008 and 2009 with the skipper hoping for a 'stiff'breeze to show the best of the S&S 41's qualities. This year there is a new addition to the crew on the foredeck, Kjeld Ruitenga, who with 6 years of traning in the Dutch Marines will bring a certain power to the team! Good luck to all the competitors and we look forward to the welcome in Plymouth.. |
