Blog 4 Better gay than grumpy! Hello boys! What a lovely, lovely day I’ve had. Ever since Julia Roberts took up knitting – there is nothing that I’d rather do and guess what? This morning I found a whole drawer full of knitting wool in the most divine colours. Well i just locked myself away in a dark corner to knit a lovely surprise for that wonderful, wonderful navigator fellow Lildi. Just finished, I had to make it a teensie bit short because I’ve finished ALL the wool. Wont that be a lovely surprise? While I was knitting I also wrote a boat song. It uses the melody of that well known dirge – The jug of punch and goes like this : Tool a loora loo Tool a loora lay What’s a girl to do When all the Tools are gay? I have a second verse but management won’t let me print it. The last word rhymes with slay’d. Gosh, have to rush the tools are shouting unpleasantly about being ‘unable to stop the symmetrical spinnaker’ whatever that means. It’s getting ugly. Toor a loo for now Prisilla PS I anybody out there happens to find a Deck screen floating in the vicinity of the Wolf Rock –ITS OURS. I was just trying it out in the dark when it slipped. The tools haven’t missed it yet. |
